Today in practical music class we saw a couple of Jazz player in the video. We saw Chic Corea and Bobby McFerrin play the song autumn leaves. I thought their performance was very great! Chic Corea played beautifully on the piano and Bobby McFerrin's voice is wonderful and his imporvisation is very good and fluent! In practical class, as usual we practiced playing Fly me to the Moon.

Today in music class we had a solo singing assessment. We had to sing by ourself in front of the class. For the solo singing assessment i sang the song "Fly me to the Moon". At first i was really nervous singing in front of the class but i tried my best and finally did it. I think i didn't do so bad but i could've tried harder to improve my singing. I also enjoyed my classmates sing their song.

Today in music class we had a written test about major scale, minor scale and jazz music. I found the written test quite hard even though i have studied at home, but i tried my best to do the test. Some of the jazz questions given in the test was hard because i never learn about it before. Overall, i think i did okay on my music written test. I hope i can achieve a good and satisfiying score.

Today i wrote another five question i know about Jazz and actually answer them. After writing these questions we had an "Ask & Answer" session in front of class. By having an "Ask & Answer" session i have learnt something new about Jazz. We also have to submit our individual report about jazz. In practical class today i played fly me to the moon with walking bass. At first i found walking bass was quite hard but i kept practicing and i finally can do it.

Today in music practical class we had to write 5 questions that we know about Jazz and answer them. After doing this activity, i found that jazz is quite interesting. Today in theory class i practiced my fly me to the moon. i didn't do so well, so i will need to practice more at home.

Today we played fly me the to the moon with chords. We also have to play one bye one to Mr. herry. I need to improve my left hand when playing fly me to the moon, so i will need to practice it at home.

Today in music class we were told to make a 15 page report about jazz. I made an outline for my individual report about jazz. This outline will make it more easier for the to do the report. Today in practical class I was given the notes to the song 'Fly me to the Moon'. We learn how to play fly me to the moon but i still need to practice more to make it more fluent.

Today in music class we were given the learning and task plan guide book. I learn that there are 4 criteria for this term. In the learning and task plan guide book it tells us the objectives and what we are going to learn in term 3 and term 4. Today i can fluently do the simple progression chord from C - G flat.

Today i learnt two new jazz songs, autumn leaves nd fly me to the moon. Each instrument group had to sing in front. I personally think that 'Fly me to the Moon' is an easier song to sing. But, the song autumn leaves is also a very good jazz song. Today in practical class i practice my simple progression chord. I still find it hard doing the simple progression chord but Mr. Herry thought me a simple way of doing it, which really helped.

In music theory class today, i learnt about major scale and it's interval. i learnt that major and minor scale are different because they have different intervals. I need to remember the intervals in order to know my major scales. Today in practical class i learn more about simple progression chord and i still need to practice it, so when i play it it'll be fluent. My goal today is to improve my scales.

Today in music class i was assessed in my kodaly hand signs and i had to repeat 2 times because i failed the first time. At the second time i was able to do the kodaly hand sign. I still want to try do my kodaly had sign to make it perfect. Today in practical class i learnt how to play simple progression chord. i had a hard time doing it, so i will need to practice at home.
